ABE Education specialises in training courses focussed on the building industry. The CEO is also a licensed builder and understands building practitioner needs.
The Victorian Building Authority encourages building and plumbing practitioners to undertake continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain the currency of their skills and knowledge.
Soon the VBA will introduce mandatory CPD for all its licensed building practitioners as part of their application for re-registration or licence renewal as is the case in many other Australian States.
ABE Education approved CPD courses are suitable for all accredited licence categories and are delivered fully online.
When assessing a registered building practitioner's application for re-registration, the VBA will take into account whether the applicant has complied with any CPD requirements.
